The Utopia Team wants to radically transform the San Francisco Bay Area. We aim to:

Challenge the greed and inequity of capitalism via solidarity alternatives such as time banks, gift economies, co-ops & mutual aid.
Build direct democracy by establishing neighborhood councils and town halls that deliver “people power” to communities.
Increase beauty, ecological health, and biodiversity by day-lighting streams, expanding green spaces, and creating wildlife corridors that welcome back species, including beaver and salmon.
