Lake Merritt Drum Circle

• Location: the Pergola at Lake Merritt

• When: Saturday and Sunday afternoons, weather permitting

• Cost: Free

• Format: informal/open participation — people simply bring drums and join in.

• There isn't a fixed start time; drummers tend to show up and the circle develops organically. KALW reported that it can grow to as many as 50 drummers.
