This morning at a local cafe                                                                                                                                                                          I asked “are you throwing away                                                                                                                                                                     Any food later today?”                                                                                                                                                                                 Mulberry’s said, “No Free Food, bye bye                                                                                                                                                       We spell that B.U.Y. B.U.Y.”

I knew they were lying                                                                                                                                                                                  So I didn’t stop trying                                                                                                                                                                                  I returned at night                                                                                                                                                                                        Under a sliver of moon                                                                                                                                                                                 Like a raccoon                                                                                                                                                                                              I peered in the green bin                                                                                                                                                                               Deep within                                                                                                                                                                                                  I found 44 and a half bagels

The dumpsters are donating!                                                                                                                                                                        Next to the grocery store… My lunch is waiting                                                                                                                                           The green bins are donating!                                                                                                                                                                         In the alley by the taco truck… My dinner is waiting                                                                                                                                  The garbage cans are donating!

If you ever need a free meal… where should you go?                                                                                                                                   Ask the street people… they will know                                                                                                                                                        They might suggest Trader Joe’s                                                                                                                                                                   Another option if you’re famished today                                                                                                                                                       Are garbage bins at Chick-Fil-A
